Teacher Appreciation Brunch

Our annual Teacher Appreciation Brunch is scheduled for Tuesday, June 14th at 12:30.  This is our way of saying "Thank you" for the outstanding work they do throughout the year.

A memo has been placed in your child's mailbox and a sign-up sheet for food and beverages is posted in the entryway.  We need volunteers to assist in setting up the brunch in the morning and cleaning up in the afternoon.  The BMW/Jowonio faculty really appreciate this event each year.

Scholastic Bookfair Next Week

Bookfair will run Monday, April 25th through Friday, April 29th
Purchases made will help BMW earn FREE books!

Next Board Meeting on April 27th

Join us at the school for our last official Parent Board Meeting of the year!
Tuesday, April 27th @7:00pm

We have a couple of open board positions to fill for next year.  We'll also decide whether of not to go forward with a "BMW Children's Yard Sale" this spring. We'd put a call out for donations of gently used toys and baby gear.  Proceeds from the sale would go back to the school.  We might also consider splitting the proceeds with a local charity such as the Food Bank of CNY. Please participate in the poll on the right so we can get a sense of general interest in the sale.  

We'd love your input!  Please attend if you can.

A Huge Success

Thanks to everyone who helped make our Family Fun Night and Silent Auction such a wonderful event!  Proceeds from the evening totaled over $3000!!!  It takes the combined efforts of so many people to pull off an event like this, so thank you to all who participated.

We are always looking for ways to improve the event, so if you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to post them or email me.  The parent board values input from everyone so we'll use any feedback we receive to help plan next year's event.
